Who we are

At Acero ATD, we transform steel into specialized products for their application in electrical power and distribution systems as well as in the development of projects requiring special steel work and machining.

Acero ATD is a Mexican company established in 2008 to meet the structural needs of the industry. Some of the products we specialize in are: tanks for electrical power transformers, steel structures for substations, telecommunication towers, poles and towers for overhead transmission lines, steel structures for buildings and special projects involving machining and steel works.

To be the leading company in Mexico in the metal transformation industry, offering a wide variety of specialized products and industrial solutions, combining both highly trained personnel and the latest technology to exceed the expectations of our clients.

Our facilities

We are strategically located in Carretera a Colombia km. 10.5 in Salinas Victoria, near Monterrey, Mexico. Our location offers direct access via train railroads to other important cities in Mexico as well as in the United States.

Our plant is installed in a 30,000 square meters area with over 13,000 square meters of industrial buildings fully equipped with overhead cranes up to 40 tons, as well as special machinery and equipment for the fabrication of our products

Acero ATD is recognized for its value proposition, technical capacity, experience and professionalism. We have focused on technical specialization for electromechanical projects and the fabrication of products for the electrical and structural industries.

Always committed with offering high quality products and services, we are certified in ISO 9001:2008 and are qualified as a certified supplier by LAPEM to provide products to COMISION FEDERAL DE ELECTRICIDAD.

Quality Policy

At Acero ATD we specialized in manufacturing metal products for the industry. We are committed to meet our customers’ requirements through setting and meeting objectives and incorporating state of the art technology and trained personnel.

Our main products are tanks for power transformers, towers and poles for transmission lines, substation structures, steel buildings, traveling cranes and vehicular bridges. We manufacture these products through the processes of welding, machining, assembly, shot basting and painting.
